I discovered this book tag on Kristin Kraves Books. I really enjoyed the questions and her answers, and because I’m up early due to lack of sleep, why not do one for myself! I hope you enjoy!
1. Find a book for each of your initials
R – Red Queen by Victoria Aveyward
T – Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
B – The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas by John Boyne
D – Dracula by Bram Stoker
2. Count your age along your bookshelf: What book is it?
I got super excited when my age landed on this book. I read FrostBlood last year and I thought it was incredible! If you haven’t read it check out my review and maybe I’ll convince you to go and read it!
3. Pick a book set in your city/country
The Moonlight Dreamers is set in London where I live close too (30 mins by train) and I lived for a year in 2014. This is a beautiful book about friendship and achieving one’s dreams.
4. Pick a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to
I am lucky enough to say that I have been to New York, where a part of Warcross is set, but I would love to one day venture to Tokyo. I’ve seen so many pictures and heard many things about the wonder that is Tokyo, and after reading this book it has made me want to go there even more.
5. Pick a book that’s your favorite color
Blue is hands down one of my most favorite colours of all time. While searching through my bookshelf I notice I have a lot of books that have blue covers. I went for Carve the Mark because I love the design. It’s so intriguing and deadly, I can’t take my eyes off of it.
6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?
I didn’t have to think too much about this one. I love A Series of Unfortunate Events. I’ve lost track how many times I have read the series. This was the book that I use to escape too at secondary school when I found things way too much for me.
7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?
I’ll never forget reading this, probably because it took me 4 months to finish. I didn’t hate it, some parts were really interesting and exciting, I just found it was very descriptive.
8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it?
I read The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson a couple of years, which is a fantastic book if you have not read it, which incorporates some of Dante’s Inferno throughout the story. So after finishing The Gargoyle I went out and brought the book but still haven’t read it! It’s been sitting in my tbr pile for a couple of years now. It looks very imitating but I will do it!
And there you have it! I hope you have enjoyed reading through my answers. Feel free to do your own My Life in Books tag and I look forward to reading yours!
