March Wrap Up

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a successful reading month! Thankfully I’ve read more good books than bad ones – that’s a first!
Once again I’ve only read one physical book this month which was Children of Blood and Bone. I haven’t reviewed it yet because I don’t know where to start! I did however take part in the book tour, which you can check out here.
Throughout March I have been travelling across the USA (and if you are interested you can follow my travels here!) I didn’t read as many books as I wanted to and I still haven’t read any classics but I’m happy with my numbers this month!
This month I read…

To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

Savage Island by Bryony Pearce

Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman

Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young

A Graveyard Visible by Steve Conoboy

My favorite read in March was hands down To Kill A Kingdom and Starfish. To Kill A Kingdom was a wild retelling of the little mermaid that I absolutely adored. The story had everything from bad-ass fighting scenes to subtle romance that wasn’t over bearing whatsoever. Starfish was a beautiful story and such an important one. I can’t stress enough how much everyone should be reading this book!

Now to my disappointing read of March. If you’ve been reading my book reviews then you’ll know that Sky in the Deep did nothing for me. I can’t begin to understand its praise, it was dull throughout and I came away only liking the main character.

My only book goal for April is to at least read more than 5 books! My Goodreads book challenge is to read 80 and so far I’m on my 21st.

What’s your Goodreads challenge? Till next time folks – happy reading!
